Great news for all you Moomin loving pet owners out there – the new Moomin pet series is out, and I am sure you will like it!
The Moomin Pets by Muurla collection launched this week and is an ode to the beloved and charming characters so many of us know from our childhood. The adorable range consists of essentials for our furry friends’ everyday needs all adorned with illustrations by Tove Jansson of the Moomins. These beautiful bowls, jars and placemats comes in several pastel colours and sizes to suit every pet. Contemporary and stylish yet playful and functioning, these items will fit any Moomin and pet-loving home and help add a touch of Nordic fun.
Like all Muurla’s Moomin products, the pet series is designed with a love for the classic Finnish characters. The items feature Moomintroll, Little My and Snorkmaiden, to name a few. I especially love the storage tin jars which are perfect for storing treats and food inside. The jars have a lid to make sure that the treats won’t get eaten by accident ;)

When you purchase any of these items, Muurla will donate a part of the sales to the Helsinki Univerity based research program DogRisk, which researches the nutritional, environmental and genetic factors behind canine diseases.

I bought the medium-sized bowl for my Siamese Cat and it’s great. I love the fact that you are able to take it out to wash it. Highly recommended!
