This tranquil home with touches of greenery throughout caught my eye straight away because of its cozy and natural look. Located in Gothenburg in Sweden, it is a lovely reminder that green plants can make a place truly feel like home.
Scandinavian interiors are known for being in touch with nature. We love to bring the outside in with textures and materials but also by incorporating lots of greenery when we decorate. This home is no different, here we find a beautiful and neutral colour palette along with natural wood and plants in every room you step into.
From the living room into the bedroom, we find gorgeous double wood doors which pair so well with the rest of the different tones of wood found throughout the space. I love the hanging plant which starts on an exposed brick wall over the sofa and organically drapes itself along the wall and over this door. This wall along with the texture and tones of the sofa and cushions creates a cozy corner and breaks up the white space.

^ A nice detail is the Samsung frame tv displaying a painting of nature as a nod to all the greenery found in this apartment.

Next to the living area, we find the kitchen. It is in a separate room but with a large opening in between, so it still feels open. This modern and simplistic kitchen complements the rest of the space beautifully with its light grey cabinets and dark wood countertop in the same tone as the dining table. The white tiled backsplash goes all the way up to the ceiling to enhance the height of the space, and we find a few green plants in keeping with the natural theme.

In contrast to the open and bright living area and kitchen, we find the bedroom with black limewash walls. Even though the walls are dark it does not make the room feel small but rather cozy and tranquil – which is perfect for a bedroom don’t you think?
