I cannot believe that this place is all ours. It has been a while, in fact, we saw it the first time in February this year on our 7 year anniversary, and I have been waiting patiently for everything to be ok. Now I am so happy to finally start preparing and getting it ready to move in at the beginning of next year! There is a lot to be done before moving in, but I will be sharing as much as I can of the renovation and how I will transform it into our little Scandinavian hygge home here in Monza, Italy.

It is basically a blank canvas right now, a very airy and white place with 3 meters high ceiling and an original terrazzo floor. We will make a lot of changes to it like tearing down some walls to make it more open, painting some walls, putting new flooring in for a cozier effect and installing a brand new kitchen amongst other things. You can expect a lot more interior based posts as we start the renovation but for now, you can see a little sneak-peak of the space here.

Also, be sure to follow me on Instagram as I will be sharing more behind the scenes on my stories.

And for anyone wondering; our dog Bowie has already been in the home several times inspecting it and it is safe to say he approves. This window spot is his favorite, he is a true hygge lover.
