We have finally moved into our home! So sorry it has been a bit quiet here on the blog lately but as you all know moving is always a very stressful period. And when you add a total renovation on top of the moving part, it sure can drain you… So this month to keep the mood up I have been trying my best to do things that make me happy, little everyday things that have made the move much easier to handle. Another thing I have been focusing on is to make my home ooze of that Scandinavian feeling and hygge. I can’t wait to share everything with you now that it is all coming together.
I love that so many of you are using and discovering my hashtag on Instagram. It is great to see how you find #thatscandinavianfeeling in your life whether that is little snippets from your own home enjoying the little things and doing things that make you feel happy or while out in nature taking in your surroundings.
Every month I feature four moments shared in the feed by you, and below you can find this month’s selection. These monthly little catch-ups are a great way to get to know each other and to discover new accounts, so make sure you click through to see more of their beautiful feeds and give them a follow.
What does that Scandinavian feeling mean to you?

“That Scandinavian feeling for me is taking the time to slow down, to live in the moment. To stop and stare.”

“I feel strangely
connected
to a certain
place in
the world.
I didn’t mean
for it to happen.
To come to
grow oh so
fond on this
place.
It does something
to me inside
and I can’t
help but
let myself
fall in love with it.
For always
there will be some
part of me left here
on the edge
of this mountain.
I’ll never get
it back
but I’m content
in knowing
it will always be
there.
Just me and the
mountain.”

“That Scandinavian feeling for me is about appreciating and enjoying the small things in life. Do things that make you happy! If you enjoy reading books – do it! If you like stitching – do it! If you always used to love colouring in your childhood – do it! You will always find some time for things like that. Maybe not every day. But once a week is a good start!”
Join in and share your moments too by adding the hashtag on your Instagram posts. How do you find that Scandinavian feeling wherever you are? How are you enjoying the little things in life?

It’s so important to enjoy the small things in life and find something that makes you happy everyday! On that note I’m going to go practice some guitar (:
