When it’s another lockdown Sunday & raining... 🌧 Usually on a day like this we would head to IKEA or somewhere else inside to have a walk with Bowie, but because it’s still lockdown here it will be a slow day at home maybe doing some drawing, baking and watching a film. What are you up to this Sunday? I need some inspiration ☺️ Also, Bowie has discovered how comfy my pregnancy pillow is so I have had to hide it under the duvet… but he still enjoys it 💤

Week 10 to week 21. I am so amazed at how the body

Week 10 to week 21. I am so amazed at how the body grows and changes during pregnancy. This week we had the anatomy scan and everything is looking good. Baby boy is cozy and growing nicely in there - he is actually measuring big compared to the Italian norm so I am wondering if he will be a tall viking... 😉 Let’s see!

20 weeks pregnant & halfway to meet our baby boy!

20 weeks pregnant & halfway to meet our baby boy! It still feels a bit unreal, but with every week passing by and seeing my bump grow it is starting to sink more and more in. I am feeling great now with no more nausea, so I am trying to enjoy this period as much as I can because people say the second trimester is the best. I have started to notice flutters inside my stomach which is such a surreal feeling, but so nice and reassuring to know he is in there. I am also feeling more emotional than usual, the other day while walking down the street with Bowie I suddenly started crying so much thinking about how him and the baby will be the best of friends 💙 And I keep having insomnia where I lie awake planning what baby clothes and things I need to buy (because I haven’t bought anything yet), googling names and just thinking… 👉🏻 On the blog today I am sharing my pregnancy essentials so far from the first & second trimester, helpful items that have made the start of my pregnancy more comfortable and enjoyable.
