Can you also see glimpses of Spring slowly peeking through?
This is a little ‘Norway I miss you’ throwback This is a little ‘Norway I miss you’ throwback... I can’t believe it has been 1 year since I last saw you! 🤍 What place do you miss the most right now?
Today is another holiday here in Italy called La B Today is another holiday here in Italy called La Befana - it is seen as one last moment of rest and relaxation before the new year truly begins ✨ For me it’s the perfect excuse to pack down all the Christmas decorations and eat the leftover biscuits. Have you taken down your festive decor yet?
Happy Monday, time for a coffee and a catch-up! ☕️ How are you? Hope you had a lovely break and managed to find joy in the little things even though it was a very different one for most of us. Here, both Christmas and New Years was quiet and relaxing, which was just what I needed. Because of the restrictions in Italy most of it was just spent at home napping, playing games, baking, eating, watching tv and reading (which I was happy about 😊) I also wanted to say a big thank you to YOU for following along here on IG; for your likes, comments and messages that always makes me smile 👉🏻 Swipe to see my top 9 from 2020 which pretty much sums up my year of staying home. It was a year where I didn’t get to travel to Norway to see my family and friends which was sad. It was a year of wearing masks, a year where I’ve had many sleepless nights because of sirens outside our windows, a year of uncertantly and worry... But it was also a year of realising that I don’t need much to be happy and that living with less can have its advantages. It was a year of slow living, a year of hygge moments and a year of appreciate what we have. It was also the year we got engaged and got to spend a lot of quality time at home together, so when I look back, that is what I want to remember 2020 for. Now, let’s see what 2021 brings 😉
As the year draw to an end, I want to wish you all As the year draw to an end, I want to wish you all a better 2021. Let’s hope it will be a year full of happiness, togetherness and all of the things we missed from 2020 🤍🤞🏻✨ Cheers and Happy New Year from my home to yours! AD / gifted
